أفادت تقارير صحفية أن الفترة المقبلة ستشهد تنافس كبير بين ناديي الاتحاد والأهلي، للظفر بصفقة من العيار الثقيل خلال فترة الانتقالات الشتوية المقبلة.
وأوضحت أن الاتحاد ينافس الأهلي المصري لضم المدافع الدولي المصري أحمد حجازي، مدافع نادي ويست بروميتش الإنجليزي، خلال فترة الانتقالات الشتوية التى ستبدأ بعد أيام قليلة.
وأضافت: “كان الأهلي المصري بصدد تقديم عرض رسمي لنادي ويست بروميتش، للحصول على خدمات لاعبه السابق أحمد حجازي، في يناير المقبل إلا أن النادي القاهري، تراجع عن المُضي قدماً في إتمام الصفقة”.
وأنهت بالتأكيد على أن إدارة الاتحاد قدمت عرضاً مُغرياً للحصول على خدمات اللاعب وصلت قيمته إلى 3.4 مليون جنيه إسترليني، وتراجع الأهلي عن دخول “مزاد” أحمد حجازي سواء استمر الاتحاد في الصراع على الصفقة أم لا حيث أن قدرات بطل مصر المالية لن تُساعده على أتمام الصفقة.
