نفى الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للرياضة حصول الهلال بطل آسيا على دعم يتجاوز المليار ريال، نافيا تعامل الهلال بشكل مميز عقب فوزه باللقب القاري.
وقال الأمير عبدالعزيز في لقاء مع القناة الرياضية السعودية وبعض القنوات والبرامج الأخرى اليوم الأربعاء في رده على سؤال بشأن حصول الهلال على دعم مبالغ فيه تجاوز المليار ريال ”لم يحصل أي ناد على دعم سوى ما تم الإعلان عنه في الاستراتيجية في أغسطس الماضي وكان واضحا لجميع الأندية ما حصل عليه الهلال“.
وأضاف ”ما حصل عليه الهلال من دعم هو ما تم الإعلان عنه أثناء تأهل النادي ولم يكن الهلال الفريق الوحيد الذي تم دعمه بهذا المبلغ بل فريق الوحدة لكرة اليد الذي تأهل لقبل نهائي كأس آسيا حصل على نفس الدعم الذي حظي به الهلال“.
وكانت العديد من التقارير قد تحدثت عن تلقي نادي الهلال دعمًا كبيرًا بلغ مليار ونصف مليار ريال مما ساهم في تحقيقه للقب دوري أبطال آسيا الشهر الماضي.
